For all you Windows Phone lovers out there, you will be pleased to hear that Microsoft have released a developer preview of the upcoming 8.1 version of it’s mobile operating system.
Those who have signed up for the Windows Phone Preview for Developers programme will have the download available to their current enabled Windows Phone 8.0 handsets, and are able to test the platform prior to general availability on real world hardware.
However, be warned that once installed there is no way to revert back to the current version of the OS.
I have personally installed this onto my Nokia Lumia 920 and am really liking the various changes and overall improvements so far 🙂
